Having grown up and being spoiled with the best of Turkish/ middle eastern food, coming from a family of the greatest cooks ( my family) this is honestly as authentic as it gets and not to mention the great music & and friendly service. As a vegetarian, I have found the selection of high quality restaurants in Charleston a bit lacking when compared to larger cities where I have lived. I have found my new favorite place!! The ingredients used are top-notch. The depth and complexity of flavors is astounding. The service is impeccable. The pricing is spot-on. I have no complaints. You guys will know me by first name because I will be a regular. Thank you for opening such a fantastic dining option in Charleston!!

I had lunch at the Olive Tree the day it opened and have had several meals there since. The food was fabulous the first time and the last time. Great place and atmosphere!

Great service and delicious food with very generously sized sandwiches and wraps. Our order was freshly prepared and the employees were very knowledgable about the menu, ingredients, and flavors. They were careful to make sure our order was prepared correctly. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The Olive Tree Cafe & Catering is a must try!

Fantastic!!!! Great food and friendly service. Love each and everything I’ve tried. Grapes leaves to die for and don’t get me started on the hummus. The shwarmma is great and the best mediteranian chicken sandwich in town.

Love the hummus and the stuffed grape leaves. Great service. I have been there only one time so far, but my husband has taken our grandson four times. Grandson loves the sandwiches.

Have had the pleasure of eating there on a number of occasions. The food is phenomenal, always fresh and authentic. Additionally, the ambiance is wonderful – truly like you have been invited into a Middle Eastern home for a meal; employees and patrons are just one big family. Olive Tree has quickly become a Valley treasure!

Nestled in the same town boasting the Criel Mound (a Native American burial mound listed on the National Register of Historic places) and LaBelle Theater (a local favorite featuring West Virginia film series) is a welcoming new venue to frequent. The Olive Tree Café & Catering is so much more than a typical café and catering combo. The owners made the wonderful decision to include a market and deli in the storefront, enabling customers the opportunity to obtain harder to find Middle Eastern cooking necessities. Since one can’t order the entire menu, I recommend trying their baba ghanoush and Mediterranean chicken wrap. However everything I’ve tasted thus far has left me knowing I would reorder the item again. A testament to the fabulousness of the food can be found when you arrive later in the day popular items like grape leaves or baklava are sold out. The food is prepared fresh daily and portions are plentiful. This café offers a dining experience which will leave your wallet and taste buds happy. I highly recommend a visit to this café nestled in the heart of South Charleston, WV and guarantee you will return.
