Going to Madam Tojos is like walking into a wonderland. It is full of eclectic items and gives a feeling of being in an art museum, only funner. The fact the owner is an artist is evident in the paintings on the walls and also in the unique, and exuberant, cake selection. Grab yourself a great coffee, choose a slice of cake, and settle into one of the antique armchairs. Don’t even get me started on the delightful breakfast and lunch menu!

I had my birthday/”leaving a job I loved”, party. Madam Tojo’s was the perfect place to celebrate. Amongst the eclectic artwork and fine organic wines, we laughed and ate gorgeous food prepared and brought to us by gorgeous people. The music was live and everyone’s eyes were smiling. Madam Tojo’s is a coming together of all the beautiful things in life. Art, Food, Music, Literature, People and occasionally puppies 🙂

I highly recommend Madam Tojo\’s! The coffee and food is brilliant, and the excellent staff clearly enjoy their work. The unique decor makes you feel as though you\’re in another world ( and a cozy one at that!).

The delights that await you at Madam Tojo’s are not only a feast for the eyeballs but soothe your soul. Eclectic style awaits your arrival that set your imagination and memories soaring. The little girl in me just bathes in delight as I sit back into my Regal chair in my favourite corner and then there is the food. Presented exquisitely and with passion, the surprise of which will take your breath away. You will savour every mouthful as the food tantalises your taste buds. Madam Tojos is by far my favorite cafe on the whole Gold Coast, and Ive been to alot. I have been there many times and never once been disappointed. The food is delicious and the coffee is perfect. It is also the only place I know that serves \”betty blue\” sized coffee cups for those hard to start days. On top of great food and drinks, the decor is unique and unmatched, and you will literally be served by \’Madam Tojo\’ herself. They do Tapas and wine on Friday nights with live music also… its a no-brainer!

I am a fan of Madam Tojos Coffee Palace because of its general vibe. Hot rich coffee, cakes and food all lovingly created, bohemian chic, dog friendly, and a supporter of the arts.
Every Friday night the cafe is open till late, and live music can be heard.
My daughter Shayler was often encouraged to play her guitar and sing to a welcoming audience.

Great coffees and cake when I come from Melbourne to spend time with my sister. We can sit and relax and be part of the ambience and just chat – share a delightful dish of sorts and catch up.. Antionette always makes us feel welcome.

BEST CAKES ON THE COAST! The first and only place that comes to mind when I’m after a a delicious fresh made cake is Madam Tojos. Her inavative cakes always have the mouth watering, not to mention her spectacular presentation! Madam Tojos is also great at adapting to dietary requirements, they are always happy to whip you up something for breakfast or lunch to suit! Happy faces that greet you and an overall unique and fabulous vibe.

Madam Tojos is the most unique cafe on the Gold Coast offering amazing food, good coffee and creative cocktails. The atmosphere is friendly bohemian and they did a great job hosting my birthday dinner. But just as good to read a quiet book and drink a big pot of chai 🙂

Eating out….My gastronomic and atmospheric quest in life is to find that somewhere different which has that WOW factor. First step in the door got me. Then I looked at the fantastic menu. The food arrived… as artistically presented as everything else, but the taste was multi-dimensional, yummy and healthy. Truly a cosmic experience. Take a friend, they will be your BFF (best food friend)!!!!

My husband and I drive 45 minutes to this cafe just because it’s that great! I have food allergies, and the staff make the most exceptional and innovative recipes for me. No boring eggs on gluten free toast- instead gourmet blends of delicious ingredients. It’s the only place I can eat with my allergies and know I will have flavorful and diverse range of fresh foods.
