First class rescue all the way! When you adopt a horse from here, the horse becomes part of your family, and you become part of the Begin Again family. Absolutely puts on the best brunch and silent auction around in December. I highly encourage anyone that wants to make a difference in the life of an animal to donate, volunteer or adopt from Begin Again.

BAHR is an upstanding and ethical horse rescue. This is a a rescue with a good reputation in their community, and other industry professionals, such as veterinarians, farriers, and animal control officers They are out in the community meeting with horse owners, handing out information at horse shows and conferences, and constantly growing their reputation so they can do more good. The animals receive routine care and in many cases care that is so desperately needed to help the horses become adoptable and healthy.They offer quality hay, grain, and water, and maintain their facilities. Adopted and fostered horses are followed up on a regular basis to ensure the horses do not end up in a bad situation again.

BAHR is very thorough in the care/rehab of the rescue horses. They are very careful in screening potential homes and stays responsible for every horse placed for its entire life! This is unusual in the world of horse rescue. There is a great team of hardworking volunteers in every capacity of the organization!

A first class rescue all the way. One by one, Begin Again offers each horse they take under their wing, the level of care and training required to make that horse feel good, safe and happy. They also take it a step further by making sure every horse adopted out is returned to the rescue if the adopter is unable to keep them for life and a new home is found. Each and every success story warms my heart. I am so proud to be a Begin Again volunteer!
