Windmill animal rescue never turns away any animal no matter what the problem is or what funding is available they always find a way. Toni is so compassionate and loving and is devoted to helping each and every living creature she comes in contact with . Toni will feed the rescues before she will feed herself if necessary. I am a huge fan and believe that WinMail animal rescue is very deserving of this award.

Toni Matt has done more for animals, every species, than any rescue that I know of. Her store profits go for the Animals and her own time and money
She is the most compassionate, and kind Woman on the Planet. She has done so much good, she more than deserves this award.

No one I know does more for so many animals than Toni at Windmill. This includes domestic and wild rescues. She is a caring and giving person who expects nothing in return… Her selflessness and energy should be acknowledged…

Tony and the staff at Windmill do a wonderful job with showing love and compassion to all the animals they take in. My kids love to go visit the animals and I think it’s really neat to be able to give these animals extra love and contact to many people to allow them to transition to any type of family dynamic easily. From indoors to outdoors, lots of different people to small children.

Toni is such a kind person to any animal, takes in all strays, gets them checked by a vet along with any care/shots they may need. She pays for it herself and it is quite costly and is running out of room at the shelter. She is an awesome, caring lady!!

I volunteer at Windmill because it is such a wonderful place! Toni takes such great care of the animals! &What other shelter lets the cats roam free and even get the opportunity to enjoy being outside with electric fence collars?! I love Windmill ❤

I love this place and the genuine compassionate woman who has devoted her life to helping animals. Toni is always so full of joy and brings the animals to all the local community events for the kids. Her diligent efforts to help all animals is so inspiring. The animals bring joy and curiosity to our young children.

Toni takes in abandoned, lost and injured animals. SHe goes to great lengths to get them healthy and adoptable. She feeds, shelters, and loves them all. WIthout this rescue many animals would not be here today.
