We love the Katahdin Kritters Resort because of the open concept design play area inside, and the big fenced in yard…plenty of space for
any dog to run,play and splash in the doggie pools. What I like is the dogs sleep where they want to…on the floor,couches or chairs. They are
free to roam everywhere and that gives them the freedom to cozy up to
any dog of their choosing. This gives the dogs confidence to meet new
friends. Our dog Molly is a frequent guest and is a satisfied customer.

Kelly and Mike have established a beautiful facility and make every effort to ensure that your pet is comfortable and safe while they are in their care. They are very flexible and go out of their way to accommodate you and your pet’s needs. My dog absolutely loves going there for his visits!

They are extremely accommodating and flexible. My dogs positively LOVE going there! They start barking and jumping around half mile before we get there and they come home happy and content. They must be doing something right!! ( I have 3 big dogs, 2 Golden retrievers and a big Golden Doodle.)

Katahdin Kritters is the best. The staff treat our family pet like she is one of theirs. Her home away from home.

Kelly, Mike and the staff are wonderful. The facility is absolutely beautiful, no idea how they manage to keep it so clean with all those animals. When Kingsley and I turn off the main road, he starts whining and jumping in the car because he’s so excited, I can’t stop the car and open the door fast enough for him, he runs right to the entrance to see everyone. I’ve tried several other daycares between Portland and Millinocket over the last 13 years with my two dogs and Katahdin Kritters is the absolute best experience I’ve had. I wouldn’t consider trusting any other daycare with my Kingsley.

I took my dog for a “tester”. They allowed my dog to try it out for 2 hours free, the staff was very helpful and answered all my questions!

Katahdin Kritters is dedicated to the pets that stay with them. As I pet owner my worry was what if something happens to me, who will take care of my pets. The answer is in the Katahdin Region. I highly recommend this homey, cozy fun place for all your critters. Whether it’s daycare or overnight your pets will love their time at Katahdin Kritters.

It is a clean, safe and happy place where my dog Maggie stays when we go out of town. They post pictures of her so we see her when we’re gone and we don’t worry.

My dog received such wonderful care and socialization time with other dogs and staff. The facility is so pet friendly and the play yard is safe and fun for dogs of all sizes. I love the fact that the animals are not kenneled unless it is the owners request. I would recommend Katahdin Kritters to anyone wishing day care or long term care for their pet. I feel it is a 10 star facility! Wonderful caring staff!

My dog gets so excited when I tell him He\’s going there . It\’s his happy place ! All of their employees are so dedicated , and I get a guilt free vacation knowing he\’s in great hands. I recommend Katahdin Kritters to all pet owners ❤️

It is very clear that this place is dedicated to taking care of all the pets that stay here! Where else can you leave your pet with an LVT right on staff! Highly recommended!
