I have been involved with Mickaboo for over 17 years! It’s just an amazing, truly grass-roots, organization. There is no overhead other than medical bills for the birds we take in. No one gets a salary, it is all volunteer, and boy is everyone dedicated. I have seen Mickaboo perform miracle rescues at the drop of a hat – people just make it happen if a bird is in danger. It’s a fantastic organization that needs all the recognition and donations possible!

The lost and found mickaboo facebook page is a direct way to get the word out to as many as possible. These lost birds are pets that won\\\’t be able to find their way home without human help.

They are all volunteers and do abhelk if a job taking in and caring for so many rescued birds! Amazing work!

Hi there, I just adopted a bird through Mickaboo. They are very responsible and responsive. Check out the homes where their birds are placed and make sure adopters know what bird care is rquired. They provide great support if you have questions. The bird we adopted is a great match for our family. Linda Terra
