Amazing.. group of individuals who put their whole life in saving all sorts of animals. . We were luck to get our Gracie Mae.. she was 1 of 7 puppys that her mom Mollie Mae was left out by the river in cold my her former owners to die after finding her later 7 puppys were born and saved what joy and blessing to have Gracie Mae around. We adopted her after my mom passed.. named after my mom Charlene Grace. She puts thoes boys in line and the love they have for her is amazing.. everything is #fortheloveofgracie she fill my heart with the void of missing both my parents we are blessed by our saving grace all puppys were adopted in loving homes.. this award would be a blessing for our small town and the wonderful group of volunteers that help daily to keep it going..staying strong..

This is the only rescue I know of based out of homes of the fosters and owner of the rescue. They had done so much within the community and across the North Dakota area in the past few years and helped many great pets. They don’t ask for help nor money unless there is a direct need of help within the rescue everything is out of their own pockets for the most part

This organization has been such a godsend for our community and surrounding areas. They have found homes for so many unwanted animals and have also helped reunite families with their lost pet. Donating so many many hours to personally go out and look for missing animals! They are great!!!!

My family and I are huge fans of Second Hand Paws for many reasons! First, because I know having grown up in small towns, just how crucial the service they provide is. Secondly, because they work tirelessly to go above and beyond their capabilities to help as many animals as they can. The third reason is because every animal they rescue gets the care it needs and more. My fourth reason is because without them my family would be short a member. We adopted our lovely lady from them and cant imagine what our home would be like without her. Finally, last but not least, they were extremely friendly and a joy to work with! Second Hand Paws will be a friend to us forever.
