I cannot say enough about Syl and AlphaHound! She goes the extra mile for her fur clients as well as her human clients! She truly cares about her business and makes sure that each fur client gets the all the love and attention they deserve. I don’t trust my pups with just anyone, but I absolutely trust them with Syl. She’s the best of the best!

Syl Paugh is the \”dog whisperer\”. Her uncanny ability to put the right dog in her play packs and her love and respect for dogs is so obvious. Our rescue is very dog shy and she was able to help her overcome that. I wouldn\’t hesitate to use her for pet sitting, play packs etc. Highly recommend Alphahound to anyone for play days, pet sitting etc

AlphaHounda takes amazing care of my little girl. Blitz loves Syl and her team! As soon as they drive up, she’s at the door wagging her tail ready for the to pick her up. She is 14 and doing great! I truly believe it’s because she gets to spend time getting exercise and hanging out with her other dog friends. Not to mention she gets activity on a daily basis ! AlphaHounds treat their clients like family. I don’t know what I would do without them!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!! AlphaHounds should be everyone’s choice!!!

I’ve known Syl for several yrs now, and if there is such a thing as a dog whisperer, it is she. I’ve never witnessed such an amazing bond she has, immediately, with all her four legged friends. Syl has known our dogs since the beginning, and they have always loved her. It is great to be able to call her and set up a time for her to come by and let them out if we couldn’t get home in time. Syl is also someone we trust wholeheartedly, and if our dogs were ever in need, we know that she would do everything in her power for them. We never go out of town without our dogs, but it’s great to know that if we ever do, there is a great person we trust that would take care of them.

I am very selective in who I let into my home and even more selective about who I let take care of my dogs. Syl is amazing and I trust her completely. To say she is wonderful with dogs would be an understatement. She won over the hearts of my old feisty lab and my skittish rescue. Which is no easy feat. She is professional and she really cares for the pups. She goes beyond what I would expect to happen during a visit and is worth every penny. I know she cares about her fur babies. When my old lab was at the end of her life, Syl surprised her with a roast beef sandwich from Arby’s. Talk about the happiest dog ever. You can’t go wrong with Syl and AlphaHound – this is the read deal.

We have a rescue that had some confidence issues. Syl & Alphahounds has changed him for the better! She was the only one who understood what he really needed and works with us outside of his “pack play” just because she is so passionate and has such a love for these dogs. Our Pup is growing and becoming more confident with the help of Syl and Alphahounds!

Syl is like family to us. Our dogs enjoy their weekly play dates with her, waiting to greet her at the door when she arrives. It’s their favorite day of the week. She helps with any problems we have, has come to the rescue when we needed her and even advised us when one of our dogs needed to cut back on her treats. I couldn’t recommend her anymore. We couldn’t live without her. She’s the best!

I moved to Charlotte knowing knowing no one and was referred to Syl after my dog had a hard time with a daycare evaluation. Syl opened her heart to us and helped my dog become more comfortable in social situations through regular Pack Plays. She’s the most reliable and professional person in the business. I can’t say enough about Syl and her team. They are one of a kind!

Syl has been so great! She was enormously helpful in teaching us to teach our dog to listen to us and really helped us with socializing our dog. I recommend AlphaHound to absolutely anyone. First of all, let me state that I have three feisty chihuahua’s! Loving, but feisty. AlphaHound is a step above the rest. I never worry about my babies when I’m out of town thanks to this company. I get photo updates of their play time with the “workers” who are the owners dogs everyday I’m gone. I’m sure my dogs want me to go out of town more so they can see their friends. My dogs are like my children and I only trust AlphaHound to make sure they are loved and watched and ran hard when I’m gone. And AlphaHound knows how tired you are from traveling and will wear the dogs out before you get home. Which is an extra bonus because now I can come home and just snuggle my napping pups instead coming into a hurricane of energy. AlphaHound is the only pet company I’ll use.

We don’t board our dogs. As such, we take vacations with them. Only sometimes, you want to go places where dogs can’t go. A few years ago when we planned a trip to Belize, we asked around about dog sitters and someone mentioned Syl. I had her over and within a minute I knew she was the one. That’s how long it took for our dogs, usually apprehensive around strangers, to accept her as one of their own. Syl is special. She has the spirit. Dogs know this, and you will too. Now we take trips knowing that our dogs will be loved and cared for by someone who truly cares.
