After searching for years to find a salon that would listen to my wants and fears, I have finally landed on JohnRussell Salon! Not only does JR pay attention to my requests, he explains what realistic and doable. The best news is he is consistent! I have never left the salon dissatisfied but more importantly, weeks later, I am still thrilled with the results! I love my hair again and JR gets all the credit‼️

I am John’s BIGGEST fan! He puts love in everything he does. He’s talented beyond compare! If you have a busy life with a crazy schedule, he’ll work with you to get you an appointment that works for you! No one else, anywhere does that! Absolutely the GREATEST!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!!!

The JohnRussell salon helped me to move up in my career by giving me the best cuts and keratin treatments! I’m a tv news anchor with thick wavy hair that’s hard to tame. John Russell to the rescue! He worked his magic to make me camera ready for work, promo shoots, etc. I credit JohnRussell and Donny for helping me become an anchor in a major city and a sports reporter for ESPN. I also consider them friends…thank you JohnRussell salon!! I will be flying back to Gainesville to see you…I don’t trust anyone else with my hair!!

It is hard to believe that in Gainesville, Florida you can have a New York salon experience with a cozy, hometown feel. I get complements on my hair all the time, from Paris to Atlanta, it is the same…”I love your hair.” I feel special every time I am there. John and Donny would we a tough team to beat anywhere, so I am really happy that Gainesville is their home!

I love Johnrussell salon!
I’ve been going to John for over two years now and I’m sooo happy The way my hair looks now.
I have curly hair and I get highlights. Before coming to this salon I tried many others and I always explained that I wanted thin spread highlights all over cause due to my curly hair they would always look like I had chunks of blonde everywhere and it looked terrible. No body understood my hair until I met John.
I recommend this place to anybody. They listen and capture what you really want.

I needed a hair cut. A friend goes to them. She recommended them. John cut my hair just I like wanted. He did make a few suggestions which were great. Then we decided to color my hair. They are very very professional. I highly highly recommend them.

John knows how to cut curly hair beautifully!!!! If you have a head of thick curls like mine, you know how rare it is to find someone who knows exactly what they are doing!
