Coopers on 5th is a fantastic place to eat. Great menu selection with very delicious menu options. A cozy place for lunch or dinner! Atmosphere is outstanding and everyone there makes sure you are satisfied and you will definitely leave there full.

Cooper\’s is our neighborhood gem but we have out of town friends who knew about it and had eaten there long before we told them about one of our favorite places to dine. Cooper\’s is cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. The food is top notch and the service is great. If you have a large group, call in advance and reserve a table. Ryan does a great job of making his customers enjoy their visit!

Simply put, upscale comfort food is the perfect description of Cooper’s on 5th in Historic Valley Junction. Creative menu, great bar, warm atmosphere and solid service. It is a great locally-owned and operated choice for lunch, dinner or drinks. Love it!

Fun place to go to, friendly, never have to ask twice for anything. Menu is awesome, as well as the nightly specials, always get those. Our car seems to just go to Cooper’s on 5th in the Junction whenever we are looking for a place to go eat. Love the seafood Randango, steak DeBurgo and the burgers. The owner is there to make everything great. Cool place, great drinks and atmosphere.

Our two adult daughters and their families live in West Des Moines, and we always go to Cooper’s on 5th for dinner at least once a week with one of them. Great food, awesome specials, the wait staff couldn’t be better, and they make us feel like we are the most special customers every time we eat there. No place better for the complete dining experience. The owner has some great beers too that I don’t seem to find at a lot of places in Des Moines. Love this restaurant in Valley Junction.
