When I moved to Charleston SC, I was traveling to FL to get my hair done. Then I found Alena! The first time I went to see her I was nervous but OH MAN did I leave there ever so happy with my next appointment in hand. Alena has been doing my hair ever since and we’re now on 7 years of me being extremely happy with my hair and my overall personal happiness. I love that when I sit in her chair, I never have to make a decision about my hair. She tells me what she thinks and has never been wrong on what she thinks I will like or need to do. Alena has helped me through many trials with my hair. I’ve gone from dark hair to blonde hair to red hair back to dark and now I’m blonde again. All of this without my hair looking or being damaged. Alena stays up to date on the latest trends in hair styles/cuts to the latest trends in color as well as proproducts. By doing this she’s helping her clients maintain healthy hair and we are always sure to get the latest trend and best hair cuts/styles to make us all beautiful. I never have to worry about what products Alena is using on my hair because I already know she’s been to classes and will only use the best products appropriate for my hair. I recently had weightloss surgery (2015). I was losing my hair by the handful due to malnutrition. Alena never skipped a beat with how to help me. She was reaching out to her fellow professionals on how to help me as well as doing her own research of how to help me. When I finally decided to cut my hair off, she made sure I we went shoulder length for a few months to make sure I was ready for the next step of going shorter which we both knew I needed to do. When I was ready to go shorter she gave me a very edgy/stylish cut and I felt like a million bucks when I left her chair. It took me over a year to get my nutrition back on track and Alena made sure that when I came to see her we used Olaplex, we did protein treatments and she was constantly looking for ways to help me maintain healthy hair and also to help me grow it back in places where I was really thinned out and insecure over. I’ve referred a few friends to Alena and they absolutely love her as much as I do. Alena remembers our birthdays and when we are going through a difficult time in our life she’s thinking of us and it’s the little things that I’ve never seen nor experienced another Stylist/Color Specialist do to make their clients feel special/loved. There are not enough words to describe how awesome and beautiful Alena is as a person and Stylist/Color Specialist. I look forward to having her as my friend/stylist/color specialist for many many years to come.
