Over the years we’ve owned 7 AKC Dobermans. And have used 4 breeders with Barb Valerio being the best. Our 8 yr. old fawn Doberman “Cooper”…has brought us so much love, pride & companionship ! Barb is a conciencious, caring & knowledgeable breeder. Always there to answer questions when needed. We traveled over 5 hrs. each way both to meet Cooper when he was born and then to pick him up. We get compliments continually of how regal & handsome he is! For a fawn his coat has been gorgeous. We wouldn’t ever use any other breeder except for Barnics…

I contacted probably 15 Doberman breeders before I contacted Barb…they either did not respond or did but weren’t willing to share much info. Then Barb got back to me. She was willing to share so much info with me and to listen to what I was looking for. I knew immediately she was the right breeder to get a dog from even if it meant waiting. I’m on the list for her next litter and am so excited based on what I’ve read from others about her dogs!

I got my first Doberman puppy from Barnic Dobermans. Barb s the most loving and knowledgeable Doberman breeder. The dogs are raised in her home with love and have the best dispositions. Her dogs are beautiful and smart and loving. My Gypsy is the best dog I have ever had. She is the most loving family dog, extremely smart and never had any medical issues.. Always healthy. She is a great part of our family. I will definitely adopt another one in the future from Barnic Dobermans!

While searching for the perfect doberman puppy, after talking with a number of breeders, I came across Barnic Dobermans. It was an easy decision in choosing a puppy from Barb, the knowledge and amount of care she has for the breed. I took my boy, Ryker, to work for the first three weeks and had tons of compliments. I am a happy owner of a Barnic doberman and will refer anyone to Barb.

I got a Female puppy (Leilani) back in 2012 from Barb’s Taboo x Rigid litter. We cant thank Barb enough for Leilani our Doberman who is so smart she can learn anything i am willing to teach her. Leilani is very healthy. Barb is always there to answer any questions we may have, Leilani turns heads where ever we go and we also get tons of comments on how beautiful and smart she is.. We would recommend Barnic Dobermans to anyone interested in a working dog or family pet.

About three years ago we bought our Doberman, Reign, from Barb. She was a little over 8 weeks old. Reign has grown to be the most loving, intelligent, and beautiful dog. We get compliments about her wherever we take her. I have owned many Dobermans and I am so glad we have found Barb and Barnic Dobermans. Barb is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She is concerned for her pups’ health and well-being. And I love that Barnic pup owners are part of a group that can communicate, share pictures and fun moments, and support each other.

Barb breeds excellent quality Dobermans out of her fully health tested and titled dogs. They pass their exceptional temperaments onto her pups and Barb is great at matching a pup with their new owners. She works her dogs as the breed was intended and shows them quite heavily. Barb has always been prompt at answering any question I’ve had and has given me a lot of guidance and advice. We own a 2 year old Barnic Doberman and plan on adding another in the future.

Barb is great! From start to finish it is a great experience. She keeps you informed on how your puppy is doing and helps answer any questions or concerns. She posts a lot of pictures and is very supportive even after you pick up you puppy. She is fast at responding to all questions and stays in touch with you to make sure the puppy is a good fit to your family. That’s is exactly what a reputable breeder does. Her dogs are absolutely beautiful. I had a chance to meet a lot of them when I picked up my puppy last year! ☺️

We researched a Doberman breeder for 6 months before settling on Barb and Barnic Dobermans. When we were ready to pick a puppy, we told Barb what we were looking for and she suggested which pup would be a good fit. Two years later, the dog she suggested is everything we asked for and more. Barb is a professional and her dogs are fabulous animals and great examples of the breed. Highly recommend.

My 94 year old father, a World War II, Korean, and Vietnam vet wanted to get me a doberman puppy for Christmas. I searched through many breeders and came across Barnic Dobermans. After talking with Barb, and looking at her dogs and puppies, I decided she had the puppy for me. I got a male pup, that I named Ryker, he is so smart and has a great personality and disposition. I would recommended Barnic Dobermans to anyone. I love my Barnic Doberman.

Barb was very informative about her dogs breeding & practices she kept me up to date on our puppy and sent photo\’s and was extremely helpful thru are adopting our new pup from her and even now she has a us on a FB group of all the other adoptive parents of her pups so we we can see updates on all the pups and updates about things to do and help with our pups as well as product reviews and recalls. I’m currently buying a female fawn off of Barb for the first time. She has been great. She e-mailed me as soon as she received my deposit and she has responded to all my questions so far. I was very nervous about purchasing a puppy over the internet but as soon as I spoke to Barb on the phone she eased the stress tremendously. She has already sent a couple pics of my puppy and I know there will be more to come. I look forward to getting my girl in June. I can\’t thank Barb enough for giving me this opportunity of buying this beautiful puppy of her! You can tell she is very knowledgeable about Dobermans and absolutely loves everything about them and takes pride in her dogs in every way. When I was five years old my parents bought a Doberman Pinscher from Dendor Kennels in South Portland, Maine. Dorothy and Dennis. He was a great family pet from Champion bloodlines. Several years later the census taker knocked on our door. Mom and Fireball answered the door together. The part-time government employee said, “Oh, hello Fireball.” As he greeted her with uncharacteristic warmth. We got him as a tiny pup, but the breeder and he both remembered. What, you ask has this got to do with Barnic’s Dobermans. Barb and Nick. To me, a lot. Barbara is the same kind of breeder. I expect that she would know one of “her” dogs years later even under unusual circumstances. Fortunately we have the internet and can keep in touch. Barbara keeps us informed of all things Doberman and is always ready with encouraging words and good advice.

Purchased a male and female from Barnic, my dobies will be 2 on April 7th. Besides the dogs being sooo smart, beautiful, athletic, their temperaments are everything you want in doberman. I couldn’t be more pleased. These 2 are my number 6 and 7 for me so I know what I am talking about. When it came time to look into another breeder, I did as much research possible, including contacting multiple breeders, Barb came highly recommeded so I drove from Westerville, Oh to look for myself. I have been abled to contact Barb multiple times, she’s always has an answer and never treated me as if I was bothersome. I highly recommend her and her wonderful bloodlines. I thought I knew a lot about Dobermans, I probably know one tenth of what she knows . And like me, her dogs are her babies, one of the family.

After getting our first Doberman together, Mila, we were looking to add our second. This was when we reached out to Barb, and let me tell you, the best decision we made in our search for finding a Breeder for our second pup, Soco. Barb is extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with you to get your new best friend. They are all well bred and she goes above and beyond to ensure the longevity of a young breed that is already predisposed to a lot of medical conditions. We not only gained a new pup but we also gained a friend in the process who is always there for you with whatever you could possibly need. Generally speaking, I would say that she knows more than a lot of vets out there having had so many of the breed. 5 years ago, Barb sent me Leilani (my Female Doberman Puppy). We instantly fell in love with her when we picked her up at the airport here in Texas. We have had our Doberman from Barnic’s now for over 1 1/2 years. He is extremely smart, loyal and loving! His temperament has been excellent with adults, children, even babies and all sorts of animals of all sizes! We have the most beautiful and great tempered Doberman from Barb. I can’t speak for everyone else but our 6 month old Dobe is absolutely perfect. Everyone that meets her or sees her says how beautiful she is. From the first contact with Barb to picking up our puppy she kept us informed and sent pictures. Her advise continues on after you get your dog. She invites you to a community of other people that have her puppies. She is a great resource and breeds wonderful dogs.

I met Barnic Dobermans when I started doing agility with my dog about six years ago. The dogs were gorgeous and so well trained in the time that I spent competing, I got you know Barb and the quality of her dogs and how much she loved them and how well they were taken care of. When we got our second doberman pup we really did a lot of research to find the best breeder across the US. As someone who is planning on showing said pup in confirmation and competing in mondio ring sport, we were very discerning in picking the right breeder with the right pups. Barb was the only breeder to not only meet but exceed the criteria we based our search on. We drove from Dallas to Pennsylvania to get a pup from her, regardless of location we wanted to know that we got the best we could get. Having gotten to know her over the past year I feel confident in saying she is the best at what she does. Whether breeding based on the proper factors to perpetuate the breed, advanced training, or advice pertaining to anything doberman related. An ethical breeder, a breeder of merit, and an overall great person.

I have had dobermans since 1987 – and experienced the heartbreak of health problems. I researched extensively before choosing a breeder for my latest 1.5 yr old dobergirl – Alex – a true testament to the breed. Stable temperament (great with my 7 year old), high energy and the velcro dog that defines this breed. Barb is a responsible breeder who creates a community among the people owned by her dobes. She is there to answer puppy questions – and the extended Barnic family is there when she can’t answer right away. As long as Barb produces dobermans, I won’t turn anywhere else for my companions.

Not only is Barb an extremely knowledgeable breeder of dobermans with many years of experience, , she is also a very nice person who is always available to her puppies’ new owners for help and assistance.
