The shelter goes out of its way to care for the animals and puts them first. They are in a difficult area with few animal protection laws and a slim budget butvare able to overcome both to give great care.

The volunteers at the Bella Vista Animal Shelter work so hard and are so conscientious about the care that they give each animal. Several of my fur babies have come from the BVAS, and the staff always goes through a thorough process to make sure each animal is going to a good home. BVAS is truly one of the best — if not THE best — animal shelter in the entire NW Arkansas area.

They do such a great job taking care of the animals around our community. My dog escaped one time and they had her all safe and happy.

All the employees and the many volunteers love animals! It’s obvious, as they do their best to make them happy until real fur-ever homes find the many cats and dogs who make it there. Some are permanent shelter residents, and have a certain amount of freedom, both behind the desk and often on it! ❤️❤️❤️

Bella Vista Animal Shelter is focused on finding quality homes for their animals. Its not enough to just get them placed. They know each of their charges personally. They work around the clock to provide the care needed. They constantly cultivate community involvement and resources.

I have been volunteering w BVAS for 3 years and have fostered many dogs for them including my last foster, Daisy, that we decided to permanently add to our family. They are passionate about their work for all the animals and care about everyone of the crybabies that pass through their doors.

They take excellent care of the animals at work and plus take kittens home to bottle fid when no mama to feed them. Travel miles to take dogs back and have vets to take care of their illnesses. The people there really take care of the animals and try to find them good homes.

Bella Vista Animal is amazing for many reasons.
1. The staff truly loves the animals and do anything in their power to serve the shelter and its needs.
2. The animals are so cared for that when you walk in they are happy not sad
3. If you need food for your animals the shelter will help you if they have a surplus
I love the shelter and love the staff.

Caring and compassionate staff to all the animals they take in. Very educational & protective through the adoption process of each animal. Clean and very organized place.
