Am I a fan? Guess you could say that…been a volunteer for BRHA in one form or another since 1999. It\’s hard to make a \”facility\” a home, but the BRHA staff and volunteers do just that every single day so that all the animals in their care get everything they deserve and all the love they can want. Never does an animal loose it\’s life due to lack of space and no matter how long it takes, all our \”guests\” have a home until the perfect human comes along!

Bitterroot Humane Association does an awesome job with the animals in care, screen potential adopters and make sure the animals are well socialized when they go to their new home. I highly recommend adopting from them. I have, they are a no-kill shelter and a non-profit organization.

I am a fan because this is a non-profit that does so much for not only the animals in their care but for the entire Bitterroot Valley as a whole. They help locate missing pets, take breed requests, provide cremation services, are super supportive of their volunteer program, work with a local vet for a very successful spay/neuter clinic, take in injured wildlife, try to rehabilitate feral cats and/or rehome them for free as barn cats, and even have a huge FREE to the public pet pantry that includes dry and wet food, litter, bedding, collars, leashes, harnesses, vitamins, treats. and cute small animal clothes. All of this on top of providing excellent and hygienic care, and enrichment, for dozens of dogs, cats, and other animals! Yes, I am most definitely a huge fan of the BRHA.
