I’ve had several custom tattoos done by John at Blue Heron Tattoo. I had read a review somewhere that he does the best work north of Boston, and I firmly believe this! I won’t go anywhere else!

The entire tattoo process was amazing at Blue Heron. John took time to really listen and understand what I was looking for. He drew up an original piece and within a few days I was sitting in his chair. The atmosphere was laid back. John made my boyfriend and I feel like we were just chatting with a friend. The piece was exactly what I was looking for and more!! It’s been 3 years sense I got my tattoo and I still wake up everyday smiling and appreciating the tattoo and what it means to me. I can’t wait to get my next piece done by John!

John at Blue Heron Tattoo is a true artist. He takes the idea of what you want for a tattoo and draws up a design until you are happy with it. He\’s never pushy and always takes the time to make sure you are pleased with any tattoo you have done by him. He is personable and kind and I would never go anywhere else for a tattoo. His work is simply stunning when completed. Blue Heron is THE place to go for the perfect tattoo!

John has done 5 tattoos for me as well as my sisters tattoos, brother in laws tattoos, and my brother in laws parents tattoos. The list keeps going! He’s incredibly talented, quick to communicate, and I’d never go anywhere else!

I had my last two tattoos done at Blue Heron one a cover-up and another my latest a memorial tattoo for my mom! Both are beautiful pieces of art that I get compliments on daily! John and Mary are awesome so professional and the environment is clean and comfortable. I recommend Blue Heron to everyone and will definetly be returning for many more tattoos!

I found Blue Heron online 10 years ago. My family, my friends all go to John. He\’s a great artist who easy to work with. If you can\’t find something you like,,John will draw something up for you. Mary is fantastic. She runs a great shop. Whether it\’s your first tattoo or your tenth, they always make you feel very comfortable. I\’d highly recommend Blue Heron Tattoo.

I’ve been going to John for almost 10 years now! He’s the only artist in the shop which is awesome. He makes you feel comfortable and can keep a conversation going, no awkward silence! Not to mention his art and tattooing skills are amazing! I have him a picture of my ancestor and told him to go crazy with the background scene. By far my favorite tattoo!!!

I have had a couple tattoos from John and he has fix a couple old ones. They look fantastic! His eye to make things his own and everything is a one of a kind in some way with the details he adds!! I have referred many people to him and no one has been disappointed! My daughter just turned 18 and John gave her the amazing gift of my writing on her arm because she wanted to have me forever with her. I can’t wait to go back and have more beautiful art!

I got my first ever tattoo from John, he has such a light touch that you hardly notice at all. John is very talented and personable. I love going to Blue Heron because its comfortable, John and Mary are very good at making you feel welcomed. John listens to what details you want for your tattoo and doesn’t make you feel odd if you say you want yo change an aspect of the design. I would, and have, definitely recommend Blue Heron Tattoo to anyone who asks me where I go.
