Carl McMillan, DMD, PA: Holistic Dental Centers

After experiencing severe symptoms of multiple sclerosis (numbness in feet, loss of 80% vision in one eye, bedridden for a month with severe dizziness, headache, nausea and my brain feeling as if it were burning) in 2004 (at age 57), I was led to Carl for a consultation. His testing confirmed test results from three other medical professionals that my problem was likely mercury toxicity from the large, numerous amalgam fillings I had had since childhood. All of these were removed and replaced with 19 crowns consisting of materials that tested compatible with my body and blood chemistry. Under the guidance of another doctor, I also underwent 18 3-hour chelation infusions to lower my mercury levels. I am now 71 and have enjoyed 14 completely symptom-free years. I feel sure my health would have been a completely different situation were it not for my dental health improvements. I know amalgam fillings do not affect everyone as severely as they did me, but I am very grateful I found Carl when I did. He continues to provide my dental care by always educating first and then acting on my decisions. There is no fear or apprehension in his chair. I really don’t understand how he has been able to provide the services I have had with virtually no discomfort at all. We can\’t say enough about Dr. Carl McMillan & his entire staff. He helped our daughter overcome her fear of the dentist and now she literally looks forward to coming to get her cleanings! They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I’ve ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
