Terrific Organization….shelter is clean, caring, staff and professional !!

They have the most compassion for animals I’ve ever seen at a shelter. Super sweet and nice people to work with. Warm and inviting. Shelter is beautiful, clean and you can tell the animals are happy as can be there.

Chasing Daylight is a wonderful place! We drive rescue dogs and were lucky to drop one off here. The staff gave us a tour of this fabulous shelter. The room for cats was so fun. They have neat runs up near the ceiling all the way around the room! It is a super clean, bright and a wonderful place for animals waiting for their forever homes,

I do dog and cat transports bringing animals from high kill shelters to rescues. Chasing Daylight is one of my favorites. They take animals that are probably difficult adopt out, and find wonderful homes for them.

I’ve worked with Chasing Daylight since they opened. I know from experience how much CDAS cares for pets in need and how hard they work for some of the ones other rescues pass by. This group of volunteers are some of the most dedicated I have had the pleasure of working with.

We got both of our Beagles from them. The staff was really great and the animals were well cared for. You can tell they put all of their hearts into their jobs!

Amazing people who care deeply for the animals! It is apparent they are living their dreams and fulfilling their passions! They care so much and it shiws!

CDAS is wonderful and much needed in the area! They take great care of their animals and their cat space is phenomenal!

They are the most wonderful people in the world. They tirelessly work to save every animal and there is nothing they wouldn\\\’t do for them.We are very fortunate to have them in this community. I can\’t say enough.

I have visited dozens of animal shelters across the country. Chasing Daylight is one of the best I have been honored to visit. Chasing Daylight gets 10 stars in my book. They are so welcoming and such hard working animal advocates. They provide a caring and nurturing environment for both the animals and the people who visit. Love going there.

Chasing Daylight is a wonderful shelter! They are so kind and giving to all the pets they take in. They are constintly doing fund raisers to make things better for the animals there, and they genuinely care.

CDAS Has placed so many animals in forever homes. They are a no kill shelter. They make sure their animals are all spayed or neutered. The kindest, gentlest and loving people work there and keep the animals healthy and cared for.

We are so lucky to have such a caring group of people at Chasing Daylight that dedicate their time to help all the animals out there. It takes special people to deal with all the animal abuse and neglect day after day. So thankful that these animals can get a second chance at Chasing Daylight.

Chasing Daylight represents what a true animal shelter is and should be. Their workers are extremely caring for every animal that comes to their doors, and will go above and beyond to ensure they are comfortable and loved while they await their forever family. The facility is gorgeous, and always clean and welcoming. The space for the animals makes it feel like home, and allows the most stress free environment possible when surrounded by many other animals. The amount of love and compassion that goes into helping the animals at Chasing Daylight does not go unnoticed.

Love this shelter! The staff there are amazing. They truly care about the animals’ well being. They are always friendlyou, even when the day has gone terrible and they may have gotten bad news about one of their beloved 4 legged (sometimes 3 legged) residents.

Top notch caring people. Give it all at all times

There is no better place for an animal to be other then a forever home. I have never seen so much love and caring for animals in my life, They go above and beyond. No dog or cat is a number they are part of a family, Everyone has a name. There is no time frame on how long they can stay at CDAS. For some one to crawl out on thin ice after a lost dog and to break thru and thankfully both were safe.Then to make sure that the dog was reunited with its best doggy friend at the shelter and adopted out together. I would say just shows how much love there is for animals. They have saved many animals since they have been open and have given up so many nights of sleep to spend with a sick dog or to fight to keep the puppies alive after the loss of the mother or if the mother could not nurse. To see a picture of a female dog after surgery and right next to her was a mattress and a volunteer or a CDAS worker staying by her side all night to make sure she is OK after surgery. Not only do they take care of their animals but if there is a crisis at another animal shelter chances are CDAS will be one of the first ones there supporting or donating. They make sure every animal that leaves their shelter is ready to leave and if the animal or family has problems the animal is welcomed back. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. I will never adopt another dog thru any other shelter as I know I will have the support If needed. This shelter is 100 miles away from my home but for what they do and how much time they put into their animals it was worth the drive 3 times. They always want updates on their Alumni and always respond. They are not a shelter. They are one big family of 2 legged and 4 legged friends.

I have been a volunteer at Chasing Daylight from practically the beginning of when they opened their doors! It is the BEST animal shelter in our area and the people there care for those animals as if they are their family! They have also done 2 very successful TNR’s. (Trap,neuter and release of cats).

CDAS is a wonderful non-profit animal shelter. I will always highly recommend. They truly go above and beyond and treat the facility as if it were their own home and the animals as if they were family.

There are no better caring folks that give above and beyond than those that work and volunteer at CDAS. They are the most caring and living people at any shelter. They definetly put a lot of TCL in caring for all the animals that come in and out their doors. They all have a heart so big.
