Daniels Restaurant & Open Air Bars

This has always been a favorite place to me. I love everything about Daniel\’s — the owners and staff who greet everyone and make each person feel like an old friend, the food that is so great that Baltimore Magazine even rated their bacon cheeseburger the BEST in Baltimore, the decor that highlights but doesn\’t insist on a motorcycle \’vibe,\’ the patriotism and pride displayed toward veterans and our country, the wonderful events on weekends (my favorite is the blessing of the bikes at the start of the good weather, as riders bring out their motorcycles from hibernation over the winter), and the personal touches found everywhere! My coworkers and retirees have had a monthly brunch at Daniel\’s for the past ten years because we always feel so welcome. And I have brought friends and family there, too, because it is a family-friendly establishment! I always enjoy myself at this truly classy and classic restaurant! Thanks for asking!

I was introduced to Daniels by my late husband who used to meet a good work friend of his there. They\’d meet to share some \”away from work\” conversation over an ice-cold Natty Boh. The first time I went it was for the Valentine\’s Day dinner. Generally not my idea of a romantic night out, but we weren\’t hearts and flowers types anyway. What a surprise!! The food was outstanding and we just had the best time! After that, I was in. We\’d go once a week or so, even for Sunday breakfast (Excellent!). Terry and her mom, Barb were very good to me when my husband passed. I had a \”celebration of life\” for him there…I and about 125 of our friends. Many of the staff volunteered their time to help out. It\’s just that kind of place. Daniel\’s is a very community involved establishment, lending a helping hand, sponsoring fund raisers for the \”Daniel\’s family\” when times call for it. It\’s a great place and I still go there at least once a week. Oh yeah, the food…Nick is a great chef (and yes, I call him \”chef\” because he\’s much more than just a cook). I don\’t think I\’ve ever had a bad meal at Daniel\’s and that\’s saying a lot, because I\’ve had bad meals in some of the nicest restaurants in the Baltimore/DC area. Try it out, you won\’t regret it.

Daniels is the most caring and wonderful bar. Always a smile and kindly ask what they can get for you. Owner is wo derful, Staff is great and the kitchens cooks fabulous favorites and specials. Biker friendly.

I have been going to Daniels for many years mostly when I was on a motorcycle ride now we are frequent customers for dinner and some Sunday breakfasts. great food pleasant atmosphere and awesome staff. love this place highly recommend it even to families with kids…

It’s been in my family since 1975! Family bought. Family owned. Family run! It’s more than a restaurant. It’s a place a lot of folks call home. And I’m proud to be a part of it!

Great open air bar, friendly staff, great food. Relaxed atmosphere. They put on a lot great events.

There is nothing bad on the menu, the prices are great, the drinks are tasty and the staff/family are incredible. You can\’t leave not smiling.

The food is creative pub food with a wholesome twist. This is a great family restaurant, the staff caters to all the age groups and is genuinely nice. No matter who you are they great you like family when you walk through the door.

I\’ve been going to Daniels for at least 30 yrs, it\’s a place where your instantly received as a friend and the food is awesome and meets all taste buds , the beverages and atmosphere is the best. A variety of entertainment is provided, never a cover charge, all walks of life come to Daniels, they are know thru out the United States, by word of mouth, and new folks enjoy coming by to experience it. Enjoy a beverage inside or the deck or outside at the outdoor bar. Remember no cursing allowed.its a great place to dine with your family as well.
