I have been a fan of Tara for a long time. Her skills got me hooked, her service kept me coming back. I was proud of her when she opened her shop, but it is more than that. She takes care of customers and she cares about her community. She provides a great service and she is a great barber. Her crew is top notch, as well. Love the shop, location and the vibe!

This is a profession, family friendly, clean environment with great staff and barbers that attract a high quality of customers that you don’t mind sharing waiting space and conversation.

I was in search of a lady barber and after researching many shops online and scanning reviews, I ran across very positive reviews of Tara Smith at Fade Factory. I was not dissapointed by my first visit. Tara went out of her way to get me in short notice. The customer service was top notch, all of the staff was friendly and the shop was very nice. Tara even gave me a sisterly hug to ease my uneasiness. Fade Factory is now my go to shop.

Tara is an awesome barber including the rest of her staff. I have been taking my son here since we moved to Charlotte in 2014. Not only is it a nice shop but it also has that welcoming feeling. Tara remembers the name of all the kids and adults that come in the shop so you feel like family instead of a number. From hosting a Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S) to participating in the MLK parade, Fade Factory invests in our youth and cares about the community. Fade Factory never lets me down and always provides excellent service. It is a good family atmosphere. The barbers are friendly and always running on schedule. I drive 45 minutes just to go there because of the customer service and I know I will get the look I want.
