Genesis Hair Salon is my go to place for cosmetics from hair to facials for friends and family. Dawn Marie, the owner and the primary hair dresser, is amazingly talented and never fails to exceed expectations. 10/10 hands down.

Dawn Marie at Genesis Salon is a true professional. It took me six months and four tries elsewhere before I walked into her welcoming salon. She listens to what you are looking for but offers up suggestions that make the end result even better.

This place is amazing. I have been going for 3 years now and will not go anywhere else.she dose an amazing job , she is very gifted and very pleasant to be..my 3 year old son hates getting his hairs cut but DawnMarie makes him feel relaxed and with patients she gets his hair cut and it always looks amazing

Dawnmarie fixed my hair for my wedding, fixed my eyebrows, and added a little color to darken the up. I also returned to her a month later for a new hair cut and she did an amazing job on all of it. She is such an amazing woman and stylist. So sweet and created such an amazing environment to be in. All together the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon.

When you walk in the door you feel immediately at home. The air is filled with kindness and laughter. Dawn Marie works magic with her scissors and color EVERY time! I never have to worry that my new look will not be exactly what I want. She offers so many other services also and I highly recommend the conditioning treatment!

Dawn Marie is not only kind. She is very honest. She explains every step of her plan for your hair! Which I totally love. She has become the stylist for my entire family. If I could rate this place with more then 5 stars I would. Hands down the best hair salon in the city. The professionalism along with Dawn\\\’s impressive sence of style combined with awesome interpersonal skills will give you exactly what you want, only better then what you pictured. The relaxing atmosphere, the light conversations, and the way you feel after you leave Genesis Salon is all anyone needs to better there week. Highly recommend!!

I used to go to lazy barbers at quick cuts and got the worst haircuts ever, then I got introduced to DawnMarie and haven\’t stopped going since. It\’s so easy and she knows exactly what I want all the time. She gets me to try new things with my haircut and I always end up loving it. And she\’s great at keeping a conversation going

When getting my hair done it’s not only for her quality of work but the experience of just getting pampered and having a me day. I always go in with one state of mind and leaving feeling amazing ! I look forward to going ever Saturday for a boost in look and confidence! Also my son who is on the autism spectrum, DawnMarie has such a nurturing and amazing way of making him feel comfortable , my 6 year old will only let her. Cut his hair.
