Jeannie is a hair artist. She did my hair for the first time a few weeks back and she made me look and feel 1000x better than I did. I was in need of some TLC that she knew how to give. She is personable above all else as well. She has a big heart and it’s a bonus to be able to go to someone and not only feel safe with their hair in your hands, for a woman that is a huge deal, but also feel totally comfortable talking and laughing with them too. A beautiful person inside and out. She is my hair person from now on.

I have been a client of Jeannie\\\’s for 3+ years now. I met her by sheer luck when she was still working out of a Regis salon, and I\\\’ve stuck with her since then for a reason. She\\\’s creative, caring, and knowledgable and has always been supportive of all my hair shenanigans. I’ve been to quite a few different places to have my hair cut over the years and NEVER have I come across a person like Jeannie. She actually listens! I can show her a few pictures and explain what I’m looking to do, and boom! She knows what to do. She’s professional with a special kind of flare you don’t find very often! Kudos to Jeannie on her nomination, she definitely deserves it!!

Jeannie has done all sorts of hard work on my hair, and no one could have done it better. She’s able to give me the best haircuts because she actually listens to what I am asking for and understands what I want it to look/act like. She also took my hair from box-black to deep burgundy with highlights in just a few visits, which is no easy feat. She’s super-friendly and easy to talk to, and we’ve spent some sessions just talking the entire time. We’ve also spent some sessions in comfortable, relaxed quietude. Basically, she’s just always pleasant to be around, always does a good job, and is the only person I’ll let touch my hair ever again!

I absolutely love Jeannie! My hair comes out perfect each time. It\’s like she can read my mind. Even if I have trouble expressing what I want, she asks questions to understand what I want and then every time, it comes out looking exactly like the picture I have in my head. She really takes her time and gives you her full attention to make sure you get exactly what you want. Plus, she\’s really sweet and personable!

You know when you get THE BEST haircut and color EVER, and then every single cut and color job is compared to that one…. well this happened to me with Jeannie. First off, I am obsessive with getting exactly what I want. When I get an idea in my head it has to be done perfectly to the T that way. In everything I’m like that. I feel bad for my stylists because if it’s not exactly what I want I will nitpick until it gets there. I am exhausting as a client. 5 years ago I had a job interview coming up and needed a more professional -less rock n roll- style. I also had some old blonde and tons of roots (before ombre was cool). So I took my naturally curly -and an uneven curl pattern, hair with about 4 inches of brown roots and bleached ends to Jeannie. … while she was still an apprentice (!!!!!! This is how amazing she is!!!) Not only did she give me this perfect multi-layered stacked cut which framed my face perfectly but also gave my curly hair the ability to realize all its amazing lion mane potential but she also perfected this gradual light to dark combination of highlights/lowlights that blended from platinum to my natural brown. Since thenI moved away and NEVER EVER EVER could get ANY STYLIST to recreate it. In Miami, NYC, no one has been able to treat my hair quite like Jeannie. I wish I could go to her all the time, but I make sure to hit her up if I’m in town. She is awesome, percise, and has only gotten better as she continues to grow professionally. Her work is absolutely inspiring.
