Bev and Peter dedicated so much of their time and their hearts to my disabled cat, Pickle, who was stricken with an unknown disease which caused her joints to fuse in the wrong direction. Pickle was unable to walk so swimming at Hip Dog became her only means of exercise. The love Bev and Peter have for each of their little swimmers is evident to anyone who meets them. They have such a strong desire to help not only paying clients but pretty much every stray animal who crosses their paths. I’m so thankful to have had these two angels involved in Pickle’s treatment during her short time on this Earth.

We brought our huge German Shepherd to Hip Dog for hydrotherapy. He had severe hip dysplasia and had not walked on his own in about a year. The first time we brought him in was a free consultation where he was able to get in the pool and we could all discuss the best treatment plan. We were all welcomed with sincere loving care. The gentleman was actually bit by our fearful dog but did not quit and quickly earned his trust. Once Astro, our dog, got in the pool and they held him up so he could kick in the water, he immediately switched from fearful and helpless to everything a German Shepherd was born to be! His eyes lit up and once the session was over he looked very satisfied. We were SO excited to continue the treatment however, Astro sadly passed away before the next session. Hip Dog showered us with love and support not only while Astro was alive with endless treats, puppy pads, toys, but also with a beautiful card after his passing. They provided Astro with an escape and haven from his bedridden life. We are forever grateful. Hip Dog is truly amazing.

Without fail, Hip Dog provides the best physical therapy for your pets. Their extensive knowledge of all breeds, and their tender, loving care of each animal they\’re working with makes them the best of the best! No matter how far I would have to drive, I will only ever use Hip Dog. Their \”Play Days\” are a true joy for the dogs too. The staff of Hip Dog has been caring for my canine clan for over 15 years. Thanks to everyone at Hip Dog for all they do!

I have been bringing my dogs to Hip Dog for over 15 years! First Bear-after his “knee” surgery for therapy many years ago (when Tom Nowicki owned it), then Shadow and Zach (Bear’s son) for recreational swims-Bear has “crossed the Rainbow Bridge” but will always be a part of the Hip Dog pack. I have gotten emotional support, information, expert advice and sympathy whenever I needed it. LOVE them! Bev and Peter are absolutely the Best!
