Cathy Ritlaw does everything she can for the horses and burros she rescues. She is amazing – she herself is not very well, but the animals always come first. She posts beautiful pictures of her sanctuary, and the animals are happy, contented, and very well taken care of.

I have known Catherine Ritlaw for 19 years and she is so very aware and concerned for the welfare of all the animals in her care. She has the knowledge and expertise to catch problems before they become acute. She truly uses all her time and strength for the animals.

Catherine does a wonderful job in taking care of the horses, donkeys, burros, and other animals that she rescues. She does all the work herself. She has serious health issues but that never seems to matter when it comes to the animals. I admire her so much.

All the animals at Journey’s End Ranch Animal Sanctuary, were neglected and abused animals and Catherine Ritlaw has turned them around 100% . They are all happy, healthy, and receive the best care of any animals on the planet. I would trust any animal with Catherine Ritlaw.

Catherine opens her heart and her time to provide the animals that have come to Journeys End Ranch for their forever home. Many of these animals have been abused, unwanted or unable to survive on their own. Some are in their geriatric years.
Catherine has provided them all with a safe and sustainable life.

Catherine provides a wonderful sanctuary for her residents, the best care and a loving forever home. Many of these animals come from abusive situations, but at JERAS they have freedom to live in herds with others and can interact with humans as much or as little as they wish. This is truly a Heaven on Earth for the residents, and I urge folks to follow on Facebook and consider donating to this excellent cause.

To me, this is a fantastic refuge for the special needs horses and donkeys. They are given love and treated with dignity and respect from a lady who herself is special needs. Nothing is too much for her to make sure that her charges get the best home and comfort that they deserve, If I had to get rid of my equines this would be the first place that I would ask if they could go. All are treated so well, having come from horrendous situations that they will never want again and never be afraid again. Love this place and the serinity it gives to all

Journey’s End Rescue Animal Sanctuary is an amazing place for the animals that live there! Cathy Ritlaw works tirelessly, despite her compromised medical issues, to care for all the animals. She is the sole caretaker of nearly 30 large animals and sees to it that they are cared for properly. I have visited on several occasions and the property is well cared for and there are plenty of acres for the animals to roam (within their separate spaces). The animals are all lucky to have found their way to JERAS.

This woman, Catherine Ritlaw, is one of the most devoted and caring caretakers of these wonderful animals you’d ever want to know. Healthy and happy stories and videos daily.. progress reports .. they are truly her family .. <3
