Fabulous food and dining experience. Everything I have tried has been amazing, but the lobster sauce on ravioli is worth a trip from any distance.

I am a fan because I grow up with La grolla food since I was 3.
I love the tortellini with ham and peas, chicken champagne and the tiramisu’.
I come here for lunch with my friends from st thomas accademy and all of us love the food and desserts

The food is so tasty, and the menu more varied than some Italian eateries. We always end up trying something new, and loving it!
Very knowledgeable and generous waitstaff help steer us to wines that pair with our choices.
And the space itself is cute & cozy. I recommend La Grolla to anyone!

We stopped into La Grolla this weekend before Labor Day and were reminded why we love this place. I had the lamb special and not only was it done to perfection but the portion was unbelievable! My date had the lobster fettuccine and she was in heaven. We ate too much to consider dessert but if we had, there were way too many choices, all of which looked very delicious! I\’m a real person who has lived and worked in the Cathedral Hill area for over 30 years and it\’s great to know that La Grolla is still maintaining such a great tradition. Our server Christine was very charming as well and very knowledgable. We are lucky to have La Grolla \”On The Hill\”

I visited La Grolla for the first time for a work meeting. It was amazing. The staff was so kind, the food and drinks were delicious. The little hide away garden patio is a terrific touch, it was so quaint and romantic yet worked out perfectly for our work meeting. I can not wait to visit again!

We love La Grolla. The food is top quality, service is on point, and it\’s an elegant yet relaxed place to go. Their patio is one of the most beautiful in St Paul and the specials are always worth a try. We have never left disappointed and have spent a number of our most significant celebrations there

I like their food and ambiance, but the service at the bar can be improved. The person serving the bar usually has tables elsewhere too, which means there’s nobody helping you for long periods of time. I have been sitting there multiple times without even getting a menu. I once didn’t get a coffee I asked for because the guy forgot and didn’t come back between the time I ordered and the moment I asked for the check. They need somebody tending to the bar exclusively.

Moving to St Paul from the Chicago area, La Grolla quickly became one of our favorite restaurants! The atmosphere, service & menu are the perfect combination to relax and enjoy yourself after a busy week of work. I recommend any of their seafood dishes. My favorites include the Norwegian Salmon (stuffed with crab) or the crab/lobster ravioli.
