I was so scared from other \” hairstylist\”
Messing my very long hair up over a trim! After TWO YEARS of no hair cut and following Melt\’s FaceBook page,I book a appointment with Alex. She went super slow and talked me through it. Needless to say my WHOLE family goes to her now. I hand out her card ever chance I get. She is AWSOME! Not sacred of long hair nor CHOPS it off! She also cuts my man\’s bread and hair. Best of the Best!!!

Alex did my hair for the first time a few months ago and I can honestly say I left happier than I ever have, from any hair appointment! I had seen her artistry on a few close friends and felt I could trust her. Flawless cut and balyage. Having naturally very dark hair, I’ve never quite loved my highlight results as far as tone. Alex blew it out of the park though!

Alex is the only person who I let touch my hair! She’s so amazing and what she does and does all she can to make your hair look perfect! She can cut men’s or women’s hair. She always listens to what I want and helps when I have no idea. She never disapoints me!

Walking into my first hair appointment with Alex, I hated my hair. Despised everything about it. It was thin, fried, red, and completely flat. Spending just 2 hours with her changed everything. Not only did she take all of the red out, give me a cut that was flattering, made it look fuller, and gave me tips on washing, conditioning, styling etc etc. she gave me my confidence back and made me feel completely beautiful! She\’s also become a wonderful friend, and my therapist haha! She is so deserving of this!! I wish I could give her more then 5 stars!

Alex is an extremely talented and well rounded hair artist. I’ve had my share of mishaps and foul play from other salons and when I came to Alex my hair was in serious need of TLC. She was honest and direct with plans and goals and successfully brought my hair back to life. She’s never spun my chair around and left me anything but in love each visit. She’s patient and so well educated on the industry. If you’re looking for the best all around experience as well as fab hair then Melt, hair by Alex is the place for you!

Alex is extremely professional and helpful. She knows hair and she knows what it will take to help you achieve the look you want. She will explain your options to you clearly and in a way you can understand whether it’s your first or hundredth time getting your hair done. She isn’t going to try to up-sell you either. She makes intelligent suggestions regarding how you can best care for whatever style she completes for you.
If you are looking for someone to do you hair, I couldn’t suggest Alex enough. I love my color and style. As a curly-haired girl, it is rare to leave a salon so extremely happy. This is easily the best hair appointment I’ve ever had for such an extremely reasonable price.

I was referred to Alex from a few friends and while I have only seen her twice, I can tell you I won’t ever have anyone else touch my hair. I LOVE being able to sit in her chair and tell her to do as she wants without questioning if I’m going to like what she has done. I’ve gone from naked, damaged hair to a healthy, super blonde in our few visits and I honestly can’t wait to see what she creates next!

I’m not the typical girly-girl type to wear a bunch of makeup and get my hair done all the time. In fact, in almost 28 years of life, I’ve only had my hair dyed several times and none of them recent. Until I started going to Alex before Christmas, and since my hair life has transformed. She knows me, she gets me, and she makes me hair fabulous. She knows what I want without me having to get crazy and goes above what my expectations. I actually look forward to getting my hair done now!!

Every time you walk into MELT you are greeted with a happy smiling hair dresser who is always willing and ready to do whatever new idea you have for your hair all while maintaing integrity of your hair and keeping it healthy! I am want a hair stylist calls a “blonde-aholic” and since I have started going to Alex my hair has never been healthier and has never been as pretty blonde as it is now. She gives you exactly the look you want while keeping your healthy and beautiful!!! She’s the best!!
