The Red Canoe is, hands-down, one of my favorite places in Baltimore. This place gets the mixture of bookstore and coffee shop just right. Whenever I want to buy books for children, I know they\’ll have the best selection and most helpful advice about what to buy. The coffee is delicious and the muffins are to die for! Also, the wait staff and owners are the friendliest people. Going to the Red Canoe is like going to visit a beloved family member, and leaving with a full belly. If you haven\’t been, you\’re missing out!

Red Canoe is a great find!! They have delicious breakfast or lunch choices. Food is always freshly prepared and you will never be disappointed. Homemade muffins are fantastic. You can also shop for a wonderful children’s book while you are there enjoying great food. The food and the entire staff will make you want to keep going back!!! Great food, great books, and great people!!!!

The daily specials are well thought out. The soups are a must no matter what’s in the pot. Good stuff happening in that place.
