I’m a fan because I love animals , I have a shih Tzu and I love ,y dog. He’s funny and he always sleeping a lot cause he don’t go to sleep. I had been going to the same vet for 5 years bc they saved my dog when she was a puppy. However, RBVS was much more convenient geographically, so I gave them a try just for a minor ear infection. The waiting area was spacious and inviting, including beverages and treats for their 2 and 4 legged patrons! The front desk staff (both 2 and 4 legged) were so sweet and polite. I didn’t wait long before going into one of their beautiful rooms. The vet tech was so sweet and gentle with Lola, and very thorough! She noticed how much Lola hated being on the examination table and put her on the floor and sat on the floor with us. The vet, Dr. Joanne did the same when she came in. Lola takes a while to warm up to people, but she immediately had her scrunchy, bulldog face all over Dr. Joanne, who gave Lola lots of love. I felt so comfortable that I continued bringing Lola for everything. My old vet was reluctant to turn over past records, MRIs and Xrays, but the staff at RBVS kept at them. Last summer Lola had her ACL repaired. Dr. Joanne had a wonderful surgeon come in for the surgery and was so supportive and understanding with me. Lola hates to be in a crate, so they even made other arrangements for her so she wouldn’t be. Post surgery the doctor called and texted to check in on Lola and I, and gave me an awesome post-op, intense, physical therapy regiment. Lola has been doing great since and when I walk by the vet with her she always wants to make the turn to go in!!

Wonderful care of our animals – loving patient and all caring professional doctors and staff!!
They are also very community minded. Always involved in community activities and local rescue groups.

They are the most caring staff and go out of their way to treat their patients. I’ve had callbacks from Dr. Ruggiero late on a Saturday night because I was worried after my Bella’s surgery and even though Bella always tries to eat up the staff they give her 100% percent. I nominate them.

We made the switch over to Rockaway Beach Vet and are so happy that we did! Dr. Ruggiero and Dr. Hollander are the best! They really care about the animals and always take the time to treat them. They are in this business for the love of animals! I am glad I made the switch and would highly recommend them!!!!

Both of my pets are clients there and there customer service is by far one of the best I’ve encountered. There nurturing ways over the pets is such a wonderful site to see. They view the animals that come in for services as if they was there very own pets with so much love and care for them. I always recommend people I know to use them.

Excellent Service from the minute you walk in door. Dr. Ruggiero, Dr. Hollander and the entire staff love what they do and it shows by the loving care they give to your pets. RBVS is a modern office with state of the art medical equipment! The Rockaway’s are so lucky to have such a wonderful veterinary practice here! If you have not brought your pets there what are you waiting for! My Cody, Bella, Bubbles and Heather thank you!
