He has practiced in San Luis Obispo for over 10 years, opening his own practice in 2007. Immersed in his native San Luis Obispo community, he volunteers his services to local charities and Cal Poly. He is a member of the American and California Dental Associations as well as the Central Coast Dental Society. He is married to wife, Jennifer and 3 children ages 7, 5, and 3. Awesome dental experience which is definitely hard to come by!
I’ve always had a fear of going to the dentist so it’s been a while since I’ve gotten any dental work done, even with years of dental insurance. After a friend recommended Dr. Ross, I reluctantly made an appointment for a check up. Not only was I NOT disappointed but I was thoroughly impressed with the kind, gentle, and knowledgeable staff. Doctor Ross is wonderful and actually talks to his patients like they are people which is something I haven’t seen from many doctors or dentists. All of my concerns were addressed, my nerves were calmed, and I left feeling great about my return visits to get further work done. Thanks Dr. Ross and staff for an amazing dental experience. No one LIKES going to the dentist, until you go to Dr. Ross. Everything, and I mean everything is excellent. What I like most about Dr. Ross is I trust him implicitly I know he will not do anything that shouldn’t be done. He also listens (sadly unusual) and explains the procedures well. After years (and I mean years) of dealing with a family history of bad teeth, I finally just gave up on going anymore. It was always the same, just too painful. If there is anyone out there who hides from the dentist, I’m first in line. One year, a colleague of mine highly recommended that I go see Dr. Ryan Ross. The minute I walked in the door it was clear that the word “family” dentist on the sign is no joke. The dentist office is not my favorite place to go but Dr. Ross and staff sure help to take your mind off worry. These are gifted and talented people. You’re welcomed and put at ease immediately. Dr. Ross and his amazing staff have held my hand through many hereditary dental problems. The doctor is thorough with his work and his explanations of what needs to be done. My husband, who was a bit of a dentist chicken as well, watched me going to Dr. Ryan Ross’s office. He’s also a patient as well. They’ve been patient, kind, and always professional. One more point of how awesome his staff is…the Office Manager, Annie is the best insurance liaison I have ever seen! We’ve never worried about the financial end of the dental work. I love this practice! I started seeing Dr Ryan Ross when he was an associate with another dentist, and i was so very happy when he opened his own practice. I love everything about this office. Since that time, he has opened in a new facility and it is better than ever! Everything is new state of the art, from the decor to the equiptment. They welcome me when i come in like an old friend. The entire staff is so friendly and professional, I have had nothing but great experiences here. Truth be told, I am not their easiest patient. Some aspects of my treatment have been challenging. Dr Ross has worked closely with me to take care of all my dental needs, and he has always been upfront and honest about his recommendations for care. I have the utmost confidence in his treatment, and he makes sure that I am happy and always follows up after treatment, to make sure that I am comfortable. The benefit is that I have a beautiful pain-free smile.
