Love how this shelter does everything in their power to get these animals to the people that want them. From transport to keeping dogs for months on end. Trying their best not to have to put any down. They do a great job. And so friendly.

I have fostered dogs from Sabine and adopted dogs from Sabine. My parents have adopted dogs from Sabine. We live in Texas and we have watched this organization work very hard to do all they can, to save all they can. Amazing group of individuals who understand teamwork saves lives.

The Sabine Humane Society is one of the best things to happen to our parish. These people go above and beyond helping to find homes for abandoned cats, dogs and other animals. Without them I would never adopted my precious Willow. She is my shadow and I could not live without her.

Our two pups came from Sabine Parish Animal Shelter. One was a stray and one was a surrender. Both were well cared for and obviously loved while there. These fine folks work very hard to find homes for animals in their care. They even arrange transport if adopters are not in the area. We live east of Mobile, Alabama, and met them in Slidell, but they were willing to drive all the way to us. I wish all animal shelters did as much! God bless them!

We adopted our precious Macy one year ago this month. In fact, we ended up driving 2,000 miles there and back to get her because Sabine Humane Society would not release her to just anybody for transport. They are awesome people. Met us on a Saturday despite the horrific flooding in the area. I would do it again in a heart beat. We love love love our Cajun Catahoula girl! M Mitchell from Greensboro, North Carolina.
