Small wonderful rescue that takes in many unwanted abandoned animals with no outside funding. All are spayed, neutered, and vaccinated before being placed in new homes. Very caring people.

In an an area that is very challenged for dogs and cats, SMTAR provides an option to the shelter, where so many would die. So often, Richard is there only hope. He never gives up until they find their forever home.

A no kill rescue that takes all types of animals at all ages who are in danger due to abandonment, hoarding, abuse, etc. They make sure the animals are receive vet care and shots and then find them forever homes.

This is a very caring place. I habe never known them to turn anyone away. They took on 7 dogs at one time for me that were abandoned by the owners. They found homes for all of them.

Richard and his wife dedicate all their time and efforts into finding these precious dogs and cats forever homes. They make sure they are fully vetted before adoption Many animals have found their forever homes thanks to this rescue. Keep up the great work!

non kill—-take seniors where no one else will and find them homes…take in pregnant dogs and let them have their pups…all dogs and cats are totally vetted and utd on shots
