S.C.A.R.E. rescues horses and donkeys. Some can be rehabilitated and rehomed but others live at the small farm getting the specialized care they need to be as happy and healthy as can be. Jan works hard to ensure this happens.

SCARE is a awesome group that goes above and beyond to save a horse. I’ve done small rescues and Jan has even helped me. I love them and all they do. They deserve recognition.

We live in the neighborhood where this rescue is located. They do wonderful work not only for our county but for our entire state helping needy animals, especially in abuse cases. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!

SCARE has helped rescue many horses and rehab and rehome them.
The rescues that needed lifetime care have become State’s sanctuary horses who will be cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.
It’s a wonderful rescue!

S.C.A.R.E. helped me with my first rescue. I had no idea what to do, just knew the horses needed help. Jan came out immediately to help. I have been rescuing ever since. I have a small farm, I do what I can to help, that was 2008. I absolutely love what they do, and what they have thought me. Selfless people.
