I was so blessed to be introduced to SDA when I moved to Knoxville and needed dental care. This is literally the best place I have went to. They have amazing staff very professional, kind and friendly. They genuinely care about you and what’s best for you!! I recently did my cleaning there and Lesa was wonderful, she did such amazing job and made my experience so pleasant! I would mostly highly recommended!

So thankful for SDA. I’ve been going there for about a year now and I’ve never had a negative experience. Super positive from the time I walk in the door, till the time I leave. The hygienist, Jamie, always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and treated with the utmost care. I cannot recommend this place enough. They are 6 star, but it only lets me leave 5! Thanks for always taking such great Care of me Dr. McCall, Jamie, and the rest of SDA staff! Y’all rock your jobs!

I have always been hesitant of dentists and embarrassed of my teeth from gum disease I’ve had since childhood. My first visit at Sequoyah Dental Arts was like I had been their patient for years. I felt comfortable, I didn’t feel embarrassed and I was welcomed into their practice with warm smiles. I felt confident that I was receiving excellent care. They had the newest technology to help assess my dental needs. Courtney and Dr. McCall went above and beyond in their compassion for me. I am so happy to have found my dental home with them. BEST DENTIST EVER!!! I just moved to Knoxville, TN from Chicago and I needed to find a Dentist ASAP! I found Sequoyah Dental Arts on google, called/set up an appointment and went in to see if it was the right place for me! When I went in I was greeted with a SMILE and they welcomed me as if I were family!! I met Dr. Foncea who not only educated me about my teeth but also helped me solve a couple problems I had! That was it, my search for a Dentist was over!! If you want a Dentist who knows his art then you are at the right place!! I now have a Bigger and Brighter smile because of Dr. Foncea and Sequoyah Dental Arts!! You should DEFINITELY go see them TODAY!!! #BestDentistEver!! 😀

Our daughter is a physician out of state, and she tries to schedule appointments with Dr. Foncea whenever she is home for visits. We have the utmost confidence in him and his staff. Dr. Foncea and his staff recently did some dental bonding on my teeth to fill some gaps and they are absolutely amazing. His office is incredibly attentive (I never waited over 10 minutes at any point during my visits), caring, and gentle during procedures. When I required an injection in my gums during the bonding, Dr. Foncea took his time and I barely felt anything. The work performed looks better than I could have possibly expected, as well. After my initial exam and cleaning, the office even sent me a card with a written note from each staff member thanking me for choosing to do business with them. The pricing for work is also surprisingly affordable for such high-quality service. I can’t recommend this dental office enough!

Dr. Foncea is a wonderful dentist and person as well. He always greets you with a smile and a hand shake. Always friendly, caring, never in a rush. He is gentle when giving an injection, very little pain really. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile as well and make you feel welcome. I have been a patient of Dr. Foncea since 2004 and I highly recommend him.

I was referred by one of my friend. They really did a good job for my crown. One of my teeth bothered me for one year, because it is broken and has a cavity. I knew I should have a crown. And my friend recommend their service to me. It is easy to make an appointment. First time they did cleaning and X-ray for me. The cleaning was good, too. They cleaned all the stains on my teeth. I was surprised at that time. Then, I did have my crown on. I should say Dr. Foncea’s technique is excellent and so is his assistant. I strongly recommend of their service.

Wow. This is, by far, the best dentist office I have ever visited. I moment I first walked in, my first thought was “home.” Everyone is super-friendly and Dr. Foncea is a true expert at what he does. I’m a relatively new patient at Sequoyah Dental. The staff and dentist is really friendly and helpful. One of the best parts for me is they set aside time once a week to have appointments after 5pm. With other dentists it was difficult to find the time in my workday to keep my appointment.

I was so impressed with our experience at Sequoyah Dental! The doctor and his staff were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. The office is very nice and comfortable, with a lot of extras that you don’t usually see at a dentist’s office. The prices were very reasonable and they were willing to work with us on a payment plan. I never review anything online but felt the need to review this office because I was so satisfied with the treatment we received! Highly recommend!

I been to several different dentists, but Sequoyah Dental Arts is by far the best. They have a great, friendly staff, plus the office isn’t your typical dentist / doctor office. It’s a more homey atmosphere, which helps make bi-annual trips much easier. Plus, they are usually able to get you in with relatively short notice and it’s typically a quick turnaround. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Pablo Foncea has been my dentist since he started his practice, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. It’s not your typical dental practice. In fact, the office is more like a cozy cottage (it is in an old home), which practically eliminates that sterile, medical office feel and helps you relax. The staff is awesome and very friendly. That’s all icing on the cake, though. First and foremost is they do fantastic work, from cleaning (thanks Yvonne) to whitening to crowns, etc. If you need dental work, give Sequoyah Dental Arts a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Pablo is perhaps the best dentist around. His attention to detail and especially staying on top of the state of the art. He trains himself and his staff with a vigor rarely seen in anything. Think about how rote your average medical office is. Dull and uninspired. Sequoyah Dental Arts is the exact opposite! His folks are excited about their work because he inspires them and that breeds excellence. I know where from I speak. Last year I had a serious, spontaneous, and unresponsive abscess. I was one sick puppy. Heather and Pablo and all the staff took such careful care of me. I ended up with an implant in the end and it works well. I can hardly tell my old one is gone. But we went to great lengths try to save the tooth. I was well informed and well cared for throughout. That level of care isn’t cheap so don’t expect a cut rate job. But he will work with you to finance a great smile. You wouldn’t say I want a cheap heart surgeon would you. I’m a dental-phobe from some early bad experiences. His office changed me. You might guess he was a good student. One of the top two graduates in his class at Boston University! He wouldn’t tell you that but I like to know such things. I went to my first cleaning with Dr. Foncea and Sequoyah Dental Arts and was impressed by the warmth and hospitality I experienced by each and every team member. I was informed in that appointment that I would need a filling done. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance and was dreading the procedure for weeks. The day of the appointment, I arrived already in tears. My anxiety was not entirely unfounded, as I’d previously had very negative experiences with dental fillings. From the moment I sat in the chair, the staff put me at ease. I was even provided with special movie glasses so that I could watch Netflix during the procedure. I didn’t even know such entertainment was possible! A mere 30 minutes later, the procedure was over. I was actually disappointed I didn’t get to finish the movie, and my appointment was actually the best part of my day. I’m no longer dreading future visits and look forward to my cleaning in November. I’m grateful for this dental practice and will spread the word to my friends and family so they can experience the wonderful care that Sequoyah Dental Arts provides.

As a UT student without health insurance, they made me feel at home, took time to understand the pain I was having, and did everything in their power to fix it, all for a low cost! They detailed procedures, future dental work that needed to be done, and got to know me. I will for sure be back during my time at UT if any other dental problems occur.

I have been a patient of Dr. Foncea for almost a year now and personally felt that he was the best dentist that I had ever seen. It’s not just Dr. Foncea, but the whole staff. I feel like I am visiting friends that I haven’t seen in a while. Recently I hired a new employee and referred him to your practice. Mr. Carney is new to the area and was looking for a good dentist. I told him that I felt Dr. Foncea was great. His response was that is what everyone says. After several conversations he agreed to come in and see Dr. Foncea. He could not have been more impressed. He also thought that this was the best experience that he has ever had at a dentist’s office. I just wanted to thank you for being the best in the area. The new dentist has a wimpy hand shake. Just makes ya go Eeeew! First impressions are important and getting a handful of limp noodles instead of a firm hand shake was my first impression. If you are going to bother shaking hands, do it properly. Otherwise, no problems. Yvonne is wonderful!

Dr. Moss takes an interest in doing it right. I think thats great. I found this office by accident and glad I did.Dr.Moss takes the time to get it right.I feel if he continues on this path he will build a name for himself and well deserving.I recommend Dr.Moss and his staff to anyone.

The best little dental house! I have gone to SDA for over seven years and I love the re-purposed Sequoyah Hills home. It’s much more relaxing than a traditional office and the staff is great.

Very professional. I feel it’s wrong to charge me before a procedure as it turned out mine changed mid visit and you had to give me a refund. Just seems like a waste of time and really bothers me that you need your money up front before really getting to the root of the tooth issue first.

Very professional and friendly service by all. Dr. Foncea and his staff offer very professional and friendly service to their patients. They will put you at ease about any dental work that you may need. I did not even feel the pain medication being administered when Dr. Foncea began crown work on one of my teeth.
