Our Goldendoodle Toby started going to Skipton Pet Lodge last year, as soon as he had his proper shots; it was love at first visit for him, Skipton and us. Joanne Hutchinson and her team are experts in dog care and health. Their facility is made for dogs to run and play and rest. Toby has stayed for day care and overnight care. When he sees the building, he knows exactly where he is going and cannot wait to see his friends. It makes a dog owner happy that their pet is happy and well taken care of. Joanne and her team love all of the dogs and spend quality time with them. They stay overnight with the dogs, which you don\’t always find in a kennel setting. Skipton Pet Lodge has set the bar high in doggy day care and boarding. I feel fortunate that we have a place for Toby when we are not home for a long period of time during a day or need to board him.

Skipton is the best dog kennel. Joanne and her crews love all the dogs of all ages and breeds. They took care of my then 8-mo old so well while we were on vacation. My puppy came home exhausted and I knew she had a lot of fun playing with human and canines while she was there. When I took her back again, she just went right in to look for her friends. I was also happy and excited to receive photos and videos of my puppy from them everyday. I will continue to drop her off to Skipton whenever we are away.

Everyone who works there are so kind, they ALWAYS put the dogs first!! I love getting texts with pics and updates when I leave my Bella there for an overnight. They are so good, they make sure the dogs have lots of attention. They treat each dog as if the pup wa their own, with love.

Skipton is the best place for your fur babies. Joanne and Steve treated my Maltese Miss Maddi as if she was one of there own. Maddi crossed over the rainbow bridge a year ago and I got a message from them giving me their condolences. Not sure any other place would have done that. Joanne and Steve deserve this honor for sure.

The Skipton staff will love your dog as if he/she was part of the family. Our pup just loves it there and we feel SO comfortable when she is there.

Skipton Pet Lodge treats my dogs better than I do! They play alll day and get to sleep on the bed. I feel bad for dogs that still go to those old-fashion kennels. Skipton is doggy heaven

I always feel my dogs have been safe and loved when at Skipton Pet Lodge.
My current fur baby Brie…is a big fan.. lots of tender loving care and playtime and cuddling…Come to think of it..maybe I should stay over too.

In 40 yrs of loving and caring for a wide range of dogs, from German shepherds to Chihuahuas, I have rarely seen such dedication to and enjoyment of animals as I have witnessed with Joanne Hutchinson and Skipton Pet Lodge. No wonder all those dogs are smiling! They are feeling the love!

Skipton Pet Lodge is an outstanding pet boarding service and all the staff go above and beyond to provide individual treatment to each pup. Every staff person who works there is compassionate, funny, caring, and really takes a genuine interest in each dog. Every day they post videos and pictures of the dogs who are at the Lodge and each one seems to be having the time of its life! We\’ve been taking our dog there since they opened and staff have become like family to us. They all work hard to maintain a clean and fun environment for the dogs to play in. We honestly can\’t say enough good things about Skipton!!!

Lucy loves her visits to Skipton Pet Lodge. They treat her like one of their own and it allows me and my family piece of mind to know that she is happy when we are away from her. I also love the little texts and messages that they send while we’re gone so that we know what Lucy has been up to!
