Both my husband are great fans of Sonia. We went there the first time for convenience and reasonable rates. Now we go because we have found a real GEM right here in Manotick tucked away on Barnsdale Road! Beautifully designed salon too! Sonia is an artist!

The salon is a warm and comforting place to visit and be pampered. Sonia is a highly talented and creative hair stylist who also has a fun and upbeat personality. I always feel fabulous after I visit whether it was for just a trim or something different. When I decided to stop dying my hair and accept my grays I went to her for advice. She removed the previous layers of hair dye from my hair, then did an overall colour to match my natural colour and added gray highlights to soften the look of my natural hair (roots) blending into the previously dyed hair. She absolutely saved me from either years of having 2 different colours as I grew my roots or a very short hair cut.

Sonia is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! The first time I saw her she showed me what others have been doing wrong my whole life, and she’s been treating me well ever since! Soon I’ll be wanting a big change, and there’s no one I trust more than Sonia. Fan for life!

I absolutely love this salon for the service and professional styling and cut that I receive each and every time. Sonia is warm and inviting and knowledgeable about each and every client. Her taste is impeccable. I am at the point where I don’t even ask for anything in particular anymore. I just let Sonia do her magic and know that it will be fabulous. I should also add that I moved out of the area but continue to travel back to Sonia whenever I can as I have found no one who comes to the level of her competence. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending this salon and Sonia for exceptional creativity, service and value.

Sonia did my hair in an updo for a very formal Christmas party. I let Sonia use her own creativity as opposed to give her any of my style ideas as I had seen her work on some friends of mine.
I received MANY compliments, loved the look and will definitely go back and refer friends.

Saw the sign for So Me a couple of years ago just driving by as I lived in the area. Called and made an appointment and have been going to Sonia ever since. I moved a year ago but she is definitely worth the drive from where I live now. Always something new at her salon, and a sweet lady to chat with as well.

Sonia always knows what to do with my hair! She gets me.
I moved to ottawa 8 years ago and have been looking for a stylist I liked ever since. Well, the search was over when I found So Me about 3 years ago. Sonia knows what she’s doing and is not afraid to honestly tell you what works and what doesn’t. I always feel great leaving.
