Strange has been my favorite brewery in the city of Denver! Their beer is consistently amazing, the staff helpful and spunky– and the atmosphere laid back, and all around amazing.
I’d give them 10 million more stars if i could.

Strange is hands down the best brewery I\’ve been to, and I\’ve been to a lot. It\’s not just the beers, which are consistently stellar, but the people who work there. They are the greatest, 100%. It\’s a real life Cheers bar, but with amazing beer, food trucks, music, and events.

I write about beer, wine, and spirits in the pages of the seattlepi.com, and have a son who lives in Denver. We visit frequently and I always work in a stop at Strange. Strange is everything a brewpub should be: homey, warm, hospitable, a little funky, a LOT about the art and craft of beer. Too many people opt for shiny, sparkly taprooms that cater to their lifestyle and self-image but which offer beer that’s deadly ordinary. Strange is about WILD creativity, great skill, having FUN at your job, and making their patrons feel at home. The beers stack up, in my not-so-humble opinion, with all but two or three breweries in Colorado and the good spirit of the staff and the place are surpassed by NONE. Strange, for me, is a Must-Stop destination in any visit to D-Town and the beers just keep getting better and better.
