Sunset Ice Cream in Williamsport, PA was established in 1977 by John and Phyllis Fritz. In 2013 the retail parlor was taken over by Jessica McDermott and Brett Harer and relocated right down the road from original location on Lycoming Creek Road. As the Fritz’s still manufacture Sunset Ice Cream, the parlor is run by this veteran Marines family, his wife a cancer survivor, and their two toddlers! Not only is it an amazingly similar yet upgraded continuation of the original Sunset parlor, it’s such a warm and friendly place you feel like it’s your families Ice Cream parlor as well. Serving premium, old fashioned hard ice cream treats for nearly 40 years!

The customer service is always fantastic! The owner is very nice and understanding when a child doesn’t like the flavor they picked. They are always all so happy and up beat!
