This sanctuary was phenomenal when a friend had an abandoned rooster that so many of us came to adore. Carolyn was so caring & kInd to my friend and the rooster. Carolyn has been amazing with updates on “our” loving little rooster. This chicken sanctuary deserves as much help as possible! Thank you.

What a amazing caring place this is. I did not know there was such a place as a chicken sanctuary until someone told me about it. Carolyn came out very quickly late at night when I contacted her about a rooster that someone had abandoned and it was just roaming loose for about a month with no shelter. When I contacted her, she did not want him to spend one more night out on his own. She got here very fast and gently picked him up from him roosting on our car and placed him in her truck. She keeps in contact with me and he is doing great. What a wonderful, huge heart she has to rescue roosters and chickens that a lot would think is just a bird. She is truly a special person for the dedication to do what she does.
