It is the best cod and chips I have eaten in South Carolina every body should try it.

I found this shoppe on Facebook one day…it was blocks from my house, in an area that I never would have found otherwise…it is in North Charleston, SC. This part of town, is in an area that was hard hit some 20 years ago after a base closing. I found it today and I knew the minute my carry-out order was wrapped in paper…it was going to be the best fish&chips I have ever had….got it home and before I could get inside to eat it, some neighborhood kids asked me what I had in the bag? Fish&Chips! What’s that? Check this out….they never heard of it! So I had the idea to share a sample with them….we all loved it! This place is doing a great job and I am to happy to share my good times and great eats with anybody who should ask. Take a trip here and make the effort…you to will be happy you did!

I’ve had the pleasure of eating at the CodFather several times and at different times of the day. We were their last Customers tonight, and it was as good as the lunchtime rush. This place NEVER disappoints. You get your bang for your bucks with a huge portion of fish, and it’s always cooked before your eyes.The onwner and staff are as genuine as they can be, and the patrons are never strangers. If your a local and you haven’t eaten there, your missing out on legit, proper fish and chips! It’s a little place that packs a punch in what use to be the heartbeat of North Charleston. It’s tucked away at the end of Reynolds Avenue, but well worth the drive from anywhere. You will be disappointed if you read this and don’t go!

Simply the best Fish & Chips in the South. I’m from the UK originally, and trust me when I say, this is the real deal, Adam’s fish is perfect, cooked to perfection, and the chips are the same, a good taste of home. The Restaurant is small, and is decorated in the UK theme, seating is limited, but it’s well worth the wait if you get there at the wrong time and there is a line, if you want REAL “Fish & Chips” this is the ONLY place to go….

I have been to the mountain, ok Britain, and had real fish n chips. Tried many places since then and all failed to reach the standard. Until The Cod Father came to town! Adam’s chippy is the real deal from the malt vinegar and mushy peas to the outstanding fish!!!!!

My Mom is from New Zealand and has always talked about sitting on the curb at home in New Zealand eating fish and chips.We took some to her and she loved them. Anything to make my Mom smile about good time’s is Priceless!!! We will be forever fans!!!! And the Fish and Chips are so good.

Having traveled to England and tasted authentic fish and chips, I was thrilled when The Codfather opened. I have not been disapponted!! The fish and chips are absolutely wonderful and the servings are huge! I have recommended The Codfather to several friends and have visited myself several times to enjoy a tasty meal!!

The very best fish & chip shop outside the U.K. Great Chippy with friendly staff and fast service. Friendly smiling faces will service you way more food than you can eat. I’ve never left hungry.
