The Funky Olive is so much more than just a great hair salon. Awesome music, great conversation, inspiring quotes on the chalkboard, lovely artwork on the walls, It’s really more like a party that you leave with great hair and a warm, happy heart. James and Sylvia have created a very special place.

When you walk into the Funky Olive, the atmosphere is like no other salon, you are welcomed with two smiling faces, Sylvia and James. You are offered a drink of water. From the minute you sit in the chair, you are treated special, they give you individualized treatment. Sylvia opens the doors of her salon to different events. It is a family atmosphere. Sylvia always goes above and beyond to not only create amazing hair for her clients to make them feel amazing but, she also works hard to create a warm, welcoming and fun environment.
Sylvia listens to her clients needs but also knows how to gently take someone out of their comfort zone as she can see the potential in something her clients never even thought of.
