When we moved to Tombstone I had heard of the shelter and that they needed volunteers. I went there one day, had a quick lesson as to what is expected of a volunteer and decided I would try it. That was 4 yrs ago and I have not regretted it since. It is just wonderful to see the dogs and cats come in with no hope and then find hope and love in the arms of a new family. I enjoy going there every week and interacting with the animals. They are a real joy. All the volunteers are wonderful and treat all the animals with care.

Seven years ago, TSAS was my cats first loving home before we found each other. Seven years later, TSAS continues to love every furball they receive until they find it a loving home. TSAS never gives up on a cat or dog, no matter the age!

TSAS is all volunteer and has some of the most loving animal protectors you will find. They spend every weekend and are on call at all times to perspective adopters and providing efforts to ensure the safety and like-home environment for their wards. Two of my babies came from there. They get my applause every day.
