Willing to drive just under a hour just for a haircut says a lot about the quality of the barbers. Great place with great people and service. Highly recommend and have brought many friends who have been extremely happy!

I’ve been coming here since 1989 when I was just 2 and a half years old. Back then, I knew it simply as ‘Steve’s’. It was the first place I can ever recall getting a haircut and for years Steve (Stav) always cut my hair. That was until his son, Peter, joined the master himself and I began to sit in his seat. Now, just over 28 years on, both my father and myself make the trip from Keysborough to Carnegie to not only get a haircut but to also get one of the most professional and the most meticulous shaves in Melbourne. 5 stars from me and I will always recommend others to visit.

It’s not just a men’s barber shop, it’s an institution, a speak easy for all ages!
Music is good, newspapers and magazines available to read although you’re never waiting too long. The cuts are quality attracting people from all over the south eastern suburbs and further afield. You won’t be disappointed, weapons are fashioned at the vault trust me!

Peter is an amazing hair stylist!! I love going there more than 10 years now. He put lot of effort to create a best hair style to suits you. I guarantee you’ve get best style hair or beard!!

I have been a customer of Vault 143 for many years now, can not recommend them highly enough. The environment in the shop is awesome the workmanship is perfection the boys really go out of their way to make sure you leave like a Hollywood superstar. I would say I’ve been in the chair 250 times plus over my years and there has never been a mistake nor have I left dissatisfied. Vault truly is a credit to the owner and even the original entrepreneur who started Vault 143 who to this day is still in there working providing the laughs for the customers.
