One of the best experiences I have had at a dental office. The staff was extremely friendly, The dentist Dr. Blackburn was so kind and thorough! The technology at the office is so advanced, more so than I am used to. Such a nice and clean office too! I left feeling so uplifted and glad I have an excellent new dentist. Loved the hygienist Vanessa and would highly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Blackburn and staff! Looking forward to my 6 month visit!

Came in for a routine cleaning and checkup and my first visit was phenomenal.
The staff was so friendly and inviting and answered all of my questions In a very professional manner.
I tried for the first time the zoom teeth whitening and was amazed at the results!
If you’re looking for a clean and professional looking office environment and a great staff to boot, please go and visit Dr. Richard Blackburn as soon as you can. It’s well worth the visit, and you won’t be disappointed!

Seriously love this office and Dr. Blackburn! I went back in for a filling and cosmetic bonding on my front teeth because I chipped my tooth. I had an annoying amount of questions because I wanted to make sure it looked good/the color blended with the other teeth. It was my front tooth they were working with so want to make sure it’s perfect! Dr. Blackburn answered all my nervous questions and really did make me feel good about going through with it.
Since the filling, I’ve gone back into Volterra to get my routine cleaning and checkups with Dr. Blackburn. He’s funny and makes going to the dentist enjoyable. It doesn’t hurt that he cracks a joke or two during the office visit. At least it puts me at ease.
Dr. Blackburn and his staff are great. Definitely recommend going there. My next visit is in three months. Update: My front tooth looks awesome!

I have been a patient with Volterra Dental for about 3 years. I have been extremely fortunate to find a dentist that I trust, the quality of patient care, and the cosmetic experience that is second to none. When I was notified that a new dentist had taken over at Volterra I was a bit apprehensive about change. When meeting Dr. Blackburn my fears about a new dentist had vanished. Dr. Blackburn is very personable, highly compassionate regarding my anxiety of going to the dentist, and he is a fantastic dentist. He explained all options, explained everything in detail and most of all I felt nothing. Really not even the shot of lidocaine. It was a very pleasant experience.
I was so happy to feel relaxed and my concerns of change and fears of a dental procedure relieved. Another great aspect of Volterra Dental is as far as I can see the amazing staff is still there. I highly recommend Volterra Dental for all dental needs. Everyone is highly qualified and professional.

The friendliest staff and professional dentistry in S. Cal. Walking in I feel welcomed and greeted with a smile. In the dental chair I feel secure and served efficiently. Walking out I know that my dental care is the best anywhere. This is dentistry at the highest level.

Dr. Arthur Laos is an excellent dentist and it’s because of him that I have all of my teeth. I love that he is never rushed and is meticulous at his work. His new office manager Christine is professional, kind, polite and a gem. It is a pleasure to be greeted by her and all of the caring staff at Voltera Dental. I’ve been going to this office for many years and I am so happy and fortunate to have found this office. He has been able to save many of my teeth, and therefore preventing the need for implants.

I’m new to the area and and hadn’t gotten around to finding a dentist. I Woke up with tooth pain, and had to ask a few people at work who they would recommend. 3 different people mentioned Volterra Dental. I called the office and was able to see the Dentist within 2 hours time. The staff was so friendly and the Dr. is amazing. He was able to answer all my questions. The office staff called me later that day, and the Dr. even called to check up on me. Best dentist I’ve ever been to! 5 stars isn’t even enough!

Volterra Dental is simply the best! The staff is always courteous, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. I’m always greeted by name and never have to worry about being just “the faceless crown in room 3”. I have complete confidence in Dr. Art Laos, and have never been disappointed. He always explains what he’s doing, and is attentive to any need for pain relief— so I just relax. Wow!
