This shelter does so much for the animals – not only taking care of them but in promoting them for adoption and finding ways in the community to bring greater awareness and raise funding.

Everyone at the shelter is kind, informative, and absolutely concerned about the welfare of the animal and making sure the family that is adopting the animal is a good fit for the animal and family alike. It is a great place!

I adopted a dog from the genesee county shelter. The volunteers for animals staff was great and they care about and are great caregivers to the dogs and cats that are there for adoption. I adopted a dog named Meatball. It is Mia now and she turned out great. I am sure the kind acts at the shelter by the staff had a great influence on her adjustment to my home. Thank you all for a job well done!
